Still topical world first
Air France Industries achieved a world first with the award of Single & Global Certification : it was true in 2007 and it is still true in 2009. It was qualified as Single because it applied to Air France's entire maintenance footprint, including the North (CDG and Le Bourget), South (Orly and Villeneuve-le-Roi) and Toulouse-Blagnac sites. It was Global because it covered seven standards: ISO 9001 (quality), ISO 14001 (environment), ISO 15489 (documentation), ISO 22000 (food hygiene), EN 9100 (aircraft maintenance, design), EN 9110 (aircraft maintenance, repairs), EN 9120 (aircraft maintenance, storage) and OHSAS 18001 (occupational health & safety).
